Life is An Empty Page

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday! I came across this quote by Jack Kerouac “I saw that my life was a vast glowing empty page and I could do anything I wanted.

I found this quote so powerful because it really is true your life is an empty page in a book and you are able to write it any way you desire.

Sure, life events happen that sometimes put a halt in the writing of the pages, but you can continue to turn the page and start fresh again. It’s funny because if you are anything like I use to be you never would have viewed life like this. It is easy to see that everyone has a different path, different directions they are following, and different goals that people are obtaining whether personally or professionally. However, it is hard sometimes to see that you also have all these options available for you to take advantage of.

It’s time to stop wanting what others have, being in victim mode that things don’t work out for you, and finally going out and getting it!

When I started my self-journey process as I have talked about in my past posts I started to read about manifestation. Manifestation made my body jolt with excitement that I could literally daydream all that I want and it really could come true. I use to feel that life was just happening day by day.

I had absolutely no control over what was going on and I was just on the escalator flowing through life with no intentions, no real set goals, and no aspirations.

If you are thinking right now: manifestation is BS. Don’t worry I thought the same exact thing. I really thought it was hocus pocus. Until….I put it to work. I was in Paris for couture fashion week right before Covid happened and I decided I was going to choose which designers I aspired to work with this time around. This was not my first season and I felt before that I had absolutely no control over my career.

I felt I had worked for great designers, and I did not even know if it would really be possible to move up. Long story short, I manifested every night and during the day me walking in Elie Saab and walking in Ralph and Russo.

Guess what happened.

Elie Saab after 7 seasons of couture decided to have me in their show and I not only walked Ralph and Russo I opened the show. I was so shocked at how manifesting worked in my life. I am not here to sell you on manifestation because you have to want to try it personally for yourself, it isn’t something you could ever push on someone. It is a personal choice and emotional journey to follow.

However, I am here to tell you to remember that your life is a blank page and you have the ability to write it any way you want.

Don’t be scared of getting out of your comfort zone whether that means quitting the job you hate, starting your own business, getting out of a toxic relationship, or setting boundaries with friends. Life is uncomfortable at times, but that is where real change happens and might just be where you are able to finally turn the page onto a new chapter of your life. So, stop living on autopilot and take action of your life. It never is too late, and the right time is now!
