Struggles are for Growth
Hi everyone, I hope you are having a great month so far! Crazy that it is already October, where is time going? My mother use to tell me “the older you get the faster time flies.” I thought she was full of absolute shit, but she was very very right…
Now since time is flying let’s right down to it shall we? Today I want to talk about struggles. I know the mere act of reading this word makes you cringe with multiple emotions. However, hang with me here.
Struggles can be viewed in so many different ways and lead to us reacting emotionally in multiple ways as well.
It all depends on how you view the scenarios playing out before you. You can either play victim to the situations happening around you or to you, or you can view it as a way to grow into the newest and stronger version of yourself. When I am having a negative day I listen to this motivational speech that says the words “if you do not struggle then there is no growth. If there are no struggles in your life then you are stagnant.”
The most beautiful part of life is being the complex human being that we are.
We are made up of so many atoms, molecules, and different cells that not only make us material human beings, but we also got the beautiful gift of having emotions. Emotions can make us crazy whether we are running around with rage, lust, love, or sorrow. However, we are so lucky to be able to really feel life and all the emotions that it brings us. We are such complex and beautiful human beings.
Struggles make us into stronger human beings.
Becoming stronger makes us able to stand up more for ourselves and know more about what we want in the next lessons and chapters of our life. Sometimes we wish not to feel all the emotional roller coasters of feelings, however, who wants to be stagnant? Who wants to be the same person they were when they were 13?
We want to grow, we want to continue to grow into the best version of ourselves, even if this takes the struggle to move us forward.
Struggles are the push that we need to step into the next level of who we are meant to be. Growth is for the living, and stagnant is for the dead. So next time you feel overwhelmed by all the emotions in your life and the struggles that have seemed to find you, start to view them as the next lesson to propel yourself forwards. A lesson in the right direction into the new you.
As always thanks for reading!
xoxo
