Putting Up With The Rain to Get to The Rainbow

Hi everyone, I hope you are all are having a great week! Isn’t life amazing when everything is going amazing and smooth in your life? Don’t you wish every day could be like this? Trust me, me too! Hopefully, our lives are filled with a plethora of days like this. However, realistically we all encounter different hurdles we have to learn to jump over and overcome obstacles in different ways. A quote by Dolly Parton says:

“The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.”

Oh, this quote is so great in so many ways! Let’s relate it to life. Let’s say you are working on achieving a goal of yours at work or in your personal life. This goal could be to be successful. We look at so many successful people such as Elon Musk, Steve Jobs, and whoever else you may find successful in your eyes and we think that it all came easy. However, trust me they all had their own battles whether personally, financially, and/or business-wise.

The point of the matter is that to get to your goal and the endpoint that you dream and aspire to achieve, there has to be hard work put into it and some days will be harder than others.

Instead of giving up when the raindrops start to fall. Keep pushing forwards, keep taking the steps necessary, because at the end of the rainstorm there will be a rainbow. Let’s apply it to our personal life. Let’s say you have been searching for your soul mate for a while or you have been in a relationship for a while that has turned rocky. If you have been searching for your soul mate with no luck it might start to feel like the lucky person you are dreaming about having by your side one day does not exist. However, that person could be one date away. The next place you could choose to go could lead you directly in the right direction to create the meeting of your forever soul mate. In the meantime, all the rain falling and all the bad dates and relationships you have experienced have helped you in ways you might not even know.

It helps you realize what you want and what you do not want.

The more experience we have the more we figure out what we want and do not want in our life in all aspects. Let’s say you have been in a relationship for a year and you both love each other, but you seem to keep continuing to get into fights over every little thing. It might seem easier while the rain is falling to decide to abandon the relationship and walk away. However, if you know you love each other then working out the issues will be worth it and your love can continue to grow along the way. No matter what it is: working towards a new promotion, getting to a certain weight, being in a relationship, being a mother they all have their struggles. We all have our rainy days and we all will have our rainbow days.

So don’t let the rain and storm cloud your judgment and your hopes.

Keep pushing on, because when that rainbow appears I promise you it will all be worth it. Do it for yourself! Just remember when that rainbow appears finally to be in the moment and be grateful for where you are at in the present moment and how you have achieved all you could have desired. So, keep pushing forwards. You got this, I believe in you!

xoxo
