Misconceived Perception
We all achieve our goals and dreams at different levels in our lives. We believe that once we get to this next step in our life everything will fall together and be harmonious. As great as that sounds, these harmonious times do not last forever. I don’t want to be a debby downer, however, each time point in our life brings about different obstacles, insecurities, and issues that we face whether physically or emotionally.
We have this misconceived perception that after we get to where we wish to be, all our issues would magically disappear.
I wish this was true trust me I really do. We see and hear all the time about famous people such as actors, social media influencers, wealthy people, and other famous people achieving these big roles in movies, big product launches, reaching their money goals, and on and on.
However, what made us think that these people do not have issues of their own?
This hit me a few days ago. I have an avid obsession with morning talk shows. After my workout, I love to make breakfast when I am not working to good morning America and such. These shows always feature big actors that have landed new big roles, new bestseller authors, and you get the point. However, all these people in their minds and lives are having struggles. Will my next book be a winner? Will people even want to read it? That actor is wondering in their head, will I land a big role that will keep me prominent in Hollywood? How do I get to that next level?
The moral of this post is not to make you unexcited about your future goals and dreams or making you stressed about what the future holds.
You cannot control the future, so please do not spend time worrying about it.
The moral of this post is to make you realize that no one’s life is as perfect as it seems online or in the tabloids.
Even though the tabloids rarely ever talk highly about anyone, that is a different issue for another day. Everyone has their struggle and issues in their lives even the people you highly admire. The reality of the matter is that these famous people you are obsessed with have their life so in the spotlight, they barely even can face their issues and struggles alone without full press coverage. So, be thankful for your life. Be thankful for all that you have been blessed with, and DO NOT let these picture-perfect lives get to you. I promise you they are not picture-perfect.
Now go live your life and remember you got this!
xoxo
