Manifestation

What if someone told you that you could imagine and picture your whole dream life and it could become a reality? Would you believe it, or would you be skeptical of the idea? Let me tell you, I was very skeptical. However, if the chances of this working are as beneficial as they seem it was worth giving it a shot.

As I have told you all before, anything having to do with spirituality I thought was legit hogwash. However, I read this book called “How to Be a Badass” by Jen Sincero last January and it began my journey into manifesting what I wanted. After finishing this book I went to Paris for haute couture. I always went into a new show season excited to walk shows and wanting to do certain shows, but I never had truly pictured myself walking that new dream show.

Let me tell you, the moment I started to picture myself at the fittings of my dream shows and walking on the runway, it just all kind of fell into place.

Now don’t get me wrong, manifesting does not mean that you emotionally won’t be tested. Sometimes your dreams seem so so close, but then they drop off before you can achieve them.

However, you have to look at it from the perspective of I got closer than ever before to achieving this dream, and also maybe you are not wanting it as bad as you think you are.

I remember I was sitting in Paris and I did the Balmain fitting for ready to wear. I wanted this show to confirm so badly, but it didn’t confirm in the end. I was so upset the day after and so disappointed in myself even though I knew that I did the best I could do. I had to remind myself at the end of the day it was fashion and maybe I was not the right look or it fit someone else better. After a day of funk, I asked myself am I going to let this completely destroy the rest of my fashion week? So I pulled myself together, told myself that I got so close to achieving this dream, and I would achieve it next time. After I got back from Europe last February, I decided I was going to make a dream board of all my desires. I saved religiously daily images on Pinterest for my dream house, dream job, dream clothes, dream car, dream vacations, I mean everything literally. I wanted to become so clear on my desires so I knew what I wanted and what I didn’t want.

When you can picture your desires as detailed as can be, you are manifesting that desire stronger than ever before.

I put all the pictures on my board, and the months following several of my dream jobs confirmed that were on my board. I shot once again for L’Officiel, I was featured in Vogue USA, and I did another dream editorial that is not yet out yet. I also found an apartment like I had printed out with insane views of the city and it all fell into place aligned with the universe.

So my challenge to you is to not be skeptical of manifesting your dreams, but give it a try and really desire what you want.

I mean picture the color of your dream car’s seats and the cabinet color and appliances of your dream house’s kitchen. Get so specific that it seems like it can only become a reality because it is so real inside your head. Use Pinterest, cut out images, and get excited about the endless possibility of your desires on a daily basis. If you realize something that you thought you desired isn’t a real desire, then appreciate your desires becoming clearer before you and mold it to something you really do desire. Remember you are the driver of your life. Keep driving up towards the stars, don’t sink down into the ocean. I want to see your goals become a reality!

Now go manifest your life and make your dreams a reality!

With Love,

BB Jean
